Make your mark Become a Student Ambassador
Ambassadors are students selected on the basis of leadership and the desire to promote the UAF Tanana Valley Campus.
What’s in it for me?
- 3 credit tuition waiver per semester.
- Networking opportunities.
- Great resume builder.
What do I do?
- Lead campus tours for prospective students and their families.
- Assist the TVC Outreach Coordinator with community & university events.
- Assist with high school visits in the Fairbanks area.
- Post on the UAF Student Ambassador blog.
- Assist with the UAF Tanana Valley Campus Facebook page.
- Will meet approximately twice a month during the academic year.
- Can expect to spend NO MORE than 3-5 hours a week on Ambassador activities.
Who can apply?
- At least half-time students (6 credits or more) in a UAF Tanana Valley Campus program.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Completed a minimum of 12 credits at UAF by Spring 2010.
