Math Lab
Staffed by qualified program assistants, the Math Lab provides tutoring service for all DEVM
courses and all mathematics courses offered through UAF Community and Technical College. Hours vary per semester.
English Skills
Individualized instruction in written language skills. Open entry/open exit, one credit modules in spelling/vocabulary, writing and grammar usage are offered each semester.
Writing Center
Faculty and program assistants provide assistance to students in all phases of the writing process, from generating a topic to editing the final draft. Hours vary per semester.
Computer Lab
Computers are available and programmed with a variety of math and language software programs for courses with computer integration as well as individualized study to increase math, reading, and English placement and skills.
Faculty Office Hours
Math and English faculty have offices adjacent to the learning center, and are available during office hours to provide assistance to students, and lead workshops for student success.
