
Important Dates for the Fast Track Program |

| April 17 | Community Informational Meetings 6:00pm-7:30pm. Anyone is invited to attend. This is for prospective students to get information regarding the program. |
| April 25 | PRIORITY APPLICATION DEADLINE |
| May 2 | ORIENTATION WORKSHOP - 5:00-9:00pm. (Mandatory for all accepted Fast Track students) Program overview, financial aid information and special math skills assessment. You will receive class schedules and registration forms, polar express card, computer ID and parking information for summer semester. The Fast Track Orientation Program is specially designed to help you get familiarized with your academic program, meet your program faculty and learn more about the academic and support resources available to you as a Fast Track Training student. Please DO NOT attempt to register for classes through UAOnline or the main UAF campus. |
| May 5-16 | TTCH093- Math for the Trades Prep Class, will be offered and required for those who demonstrate a math refresher is needed, either during the COMPASS test or the math assessment conducted on May 2nd. |
| May 19* | Classes Begin for — Instrumentation, Power Generation and Safety, Health and Environmental Awareness |
| June 9* | Classes Begin for — Diesel |
| June 16* | Classes Begin for — Drafting |

| August 14 | FAST TRACK FALL CLASS REGISTRATION - 6:00pm-8:00pm. (Mandatory for all accepted Fast Track students)
We will do fall class registration. This will be at the TVCC Auto shop at 3202 Industrial Way. |

Basic computer skills including word processing, file management and internet use are needed for ALL Fast Track programs. You may want to take advantage of the following upcoming classes. Either class is appropriate for students with no previous computer experience.
- DRT 110- June 16-27- 8-12 and 1-5, MWF- Computer Literacy
- CIOS F004- 3/29- Sa- 9-12:00- Computer Basics
- CIOS F150- 3/31-5/7- MW- 5:30-9:00PM- Computer Business Applications
Program Fees: The UAF fees may be found in the current Course Catalog or at http://www.uaf.edu/reg/schedule/fees_chart.html. You will receive your fee statement for classes once your registration is completed during Orientation. Books, supplies and all tools should be bought by the first day of class. Please realize this is a fast paced intensive training program and will involve additional time outside the classroom. There will be mandatory homework, possible internship or extra training times. Any part-time work hours and other time commitments will need to be arranged around the full-time program commitment. The Fast Track program should be your #1 commitment for the duration of the program. You will get to practice those time management skills!
