
Get in… Get Out… Get Working… with TVC’s Fast-Track Training program! TVC’s Fast Track Training program is low-cost and designed to meet interior Alaska’s workforce needs in oil and gas, diesel and automotive, safety, drafting, and power generation industries. The primary goal of the Fast Track Training program is to allow interior Alaska workers to complete workforce development certificate programs in high-growth, high-demand job categories. The fast track nine-twelve month format enables students to quickly put their new job skills to work. Students can choose from one of six exciting certificate programs in:
- Automotive
- Diesel/Heavy Equipment
- Drafting
- Power Generation
- Safety, Health & Environmental Awareness
- Instrumentation
Who would benefit from Fast Track Training?
- Anyone who is currently employed but is looking for a new career path and/or opportunity.
- Anyone who is currently working in one of the certificate fields and is looking to upgrade his or her skills for advancement.
- Anyone requiring new training and skills to obtain a job.
- Anyone who is unemployed and/or looking for an exciting new career path.
- Fast Track Training is intensive so a full-time commitment is needed. Come prepared to work hard. If focused training for high-demand good-paying jobs is what you're looking for, Fast Track Training may be for you.
Fast Track Training is funded in part by the Department Of Labor, through a grant awarded under the President's Community-Based Job Training Grant, as implemented by the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment & Training Administration.
