| In this course, you learn the importance of Emotional Intelligence (EI) and why it matters in your personal life and the workplace. You will learn the core competencies needed to display Emotional Intelligence and how to apply these competencies in leadership and other interpersonal situations. You will also have the opportunity to complete an EI self-assessment, review the results, and ways to strengthen your EI. Session 1 will consist of identifying the main EI competencies and knowing how each area can contribute to your personality, interaction with others, and benefits in the workplace. You will be measuring and interpreting your Emotional Intelligence and mapping your strengths and weaknesses through self-reflection. Session 2 will be reading the emotional landscape to achieve greater social awareness . Uncover negative self-talk patterns, reframe thoughts and perspectives and monitor the emotional responses of others. Session 3 will assist you in achieving greater personal effectiveness through self-management tools and techniques. You will create an action plan to strengthen your EI and learn to leverage Emotional Intelligence (EI) to improve your effectiveness as a leader. |
