According to the Small Business Association, poor record keeping is the single most common cause of business failure.

Every business and every individual needs the skills to track money, assets and debts. Graduates of this program are prepared to start their own bookkeeping or tax preparer businesses. Many also obtain accounting positions in payables, receivables, bookkeeping and payroll accounting.

    or MATH at the 100 level or above

2nd Semester

ABUS 141 - Payroll Accounting
ABUS 210 - Income Tax
ABUS 220 - Microcomputer Accounting: Quickbooks
    or ABUS 221 - Microcomputer Accounting
CIOS 150 - Computer Business Applications*

Total - 30 Credits

* Student with “Microsoft Office” competency may substitute
a more advanced CIOS course in lieu of CIOS 150.
