Course Registration Process
Use the information below to help you select the registration process that matches your current student registration status.
Current degree students
You are considered a current degree student if you were enrolled at UAF last semester or you were enrolled and working toward a degree prior to last semester, and no more than two years have elapsed since your last enrollment.
New and returning degree students
You are considered a new degree student if this is your first semester at UAF, you have never before registered at UAF, and you've been accepted to an undergraduate or graduate degree program for the upcoming semester.
You are considered a returning degree student if you were enrolled at UAF last semester or you were enrolled and working toward a degree prior to last semester, and no more than two years have elapsed since your last enrollment.
Current non-degree students
You are considered a current non-degree student if you were registered as a non-degree-seeking student at UAF last semester, are not working toward a degree, and want to enroll as a non-degree-seeking student for the upcoming semester.
New or returning non-degree student
You are considered a new or returning non-degree student if you were not registered last semester, but have taken classes at UAF before--
OR
You have never taken any courses at UAF, are not pursuing nor have been accepted to a degree program,
but want to enroll as a non-degree-seeking student for the upcoming semester.
